Speaking from experience, once you have cleaned your neighbor’s pool a dozen times, they will start to wonder if you are lacing your tanks with a funny mix of gas. So what is the next best thing to a great day a few miles off shore, in 80 feet of salty water? You got it, the springs!
There are many divers that love to explore the springs. Careful though, most springs have caves, and caves, they are bad for your health, unless you are certified ...
The down side? It's 72 degrees. But that can be fixed with a 7mm suit.
The upside? The water is cleaner than the stuff that comes out of your garden hose. When you're done diving just hang, dry and pack…no rinse necessary!
In any event, in a pinch or if your crazy about the springs like Sally is, he you go.
